These are Rufford Old Hall (National Trust), Martin Mere Wildfowl Centre (WWT), Cedar Farm Galleries,
Bygone Times (Antiques centre featured on BBC), Mere Sands Wetlands Centre, Windmill Animal Farm as well as excellent cycling, (We are on the Lancashire Cycleway).
Within 15 minutes you can easily be at any of these attractions!

Within an easy drive away you can visit Southport, with its stylish shopping boulevard on Lord Street and home to Birkdale golf course.
Aintree racecourse is less than 15 miles drive away, and vibrant Liverpool with its sights, culture and excellent shopping is within easy reach!
By contrast there is the hidden gem of scenic beauty at the Forest of Bowland, north of Preston. Designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) there are many walks amongst inspiring countryside.
